Karen Healey Stables' Samantha Harrison and Santika Continue Jumper Success at
National Preview Horse Show

Burbank, CA --- Karen Healey Stables competed at the National Preview Horse Show in Burbank, CA, this past weekend and were very competitive in the jumper and equitation divisions.
Samantha Harrison of La Canada, CA, won the $3,000 High Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic on her horse Santika. Harrison and Santika have been very successful in the jumper classics this year and their win this past week increased their lead in the Show Jumping Hall of Fame standings.
In the Low Junior/Amateur Jumper Classic, Lauren Kay and Damiro 21 came away with the win. Carol Bird on W.C. Swing finished third. Mackensie Baker and Cruise Master were seventh.
Both Baker and Bird finished second in Low Junior/Amateur Jumper classes during the week, while Kay and Damiro 21 were second in the 1.30m Jumpers. Alex Block piloted Kool Shoes to first place in the 1.20m Jumpers, which helped her seal the division championship as well.
Hannah Selleck, winner of this year's USEF Show Jumping Talent Search West Coast Finals, picked up another win in the class this week on Bella. Demi Stiegler rode Vigo to second place in the ASPCA Maclay class and was fifth in the USEF Medal.
On her new mount Lord Loxley, Jocelyn Neff of Newport Beach, CA, won the Equitation 14-15 over fences class and was second in the flat class. Elizabeth Dickinson of Los Angeles finished second in the WCE Medal and was third and fifth in the Equitation 36-50 division. Addy Graves rode to third place in the Equitation 11 and Under over fences class and was sixth in the Marshall and Sterling Children's Medal class. Hannah Bibb rode her hunter Regatton to top ribbons in the Large Junior 16-17 Hunters.
A week earlier, Karen Healey Stables competed on the East Coast at the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament featuring the 125th National Horse Show. Harrison and Santika finished eighth in the $10,000 High Junior/Amateur Jumper Table C class. Their solid performances during the week put them in the top 25 in the division to return on Sunday for the $40,000 High Junior/Amateur Grand Prix. There, Santika and Harrison jumped very well to finish in eighth place against the toughest competition in the country.
Tammy Chipko of Westlake Village, CA, and her two amateur hunters were also invited to compete at the prestigious National Horse Show. The show hosted the 11 best Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunter horses in the United States. Chipko rode All That to third, fourth, sixth, and eighth place ribbons. On Amnesty, she was eighth in two jumping classes and fourth under saddle.
